The album has a loose throughout concept. It is an album about the apocalypse, about the end of humanity, the end of all days and us – mankind – dealing with it. Even the cover songs fit to that concept. It was the bible verse (revelation 6.8) that inspired me. I discovered the verse when I was reading an Agatha Christie novel called „the pale horse“. In the novel a pub is named „pale horse“. But the quotation from the bible also plays an important role in it. I instantly fell in love with that verse and the vision of a pale horse with a personated „death“ sitting on it. I knew at once: This will be the title of my next album.
